Sgt Steve "Geordie" Young awarded Recognition

Sgt Steve Young , FTRS 609 (WR) Squadron RAuxAF has been awarded Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant Honours North Yorkshire for Reservists and Adult Volunteers in recogniton of his outstanding service to the Reserve Forces, this award is second only to HM The Queen’s Birthday and New Year’s Honours.
The ceremony was held at York’s Worsley Barracks on 14 March 2018 and was hosted by 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment and organised by The Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (RFCA) for Yorkshire and The Humber, where the recipients were presented with their awards in front of friends, family, senior military personnel and civic dignitaries.
