609(WR) Squadron Association

Cpl Alistair Thomson , PTVR 609 (WR) Squadron RAuxAF has been awarded Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant Honours North Yorkshire for Reservists and Adult Volunteers in recogniton of his exemplerary  service to the Reserve Forces, his Squadron Association and beyond.

 

This award is second only to Her Majesty' Birthday and New Year’s Honours.

The  ceremony was held in York on 29 September 2022 and organised by The Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (RFCA) for Yorkshire and The Humber, where the recipients  were presented with their awards by Her Majesties Lord - Lieutenant of North Yorkshire Mrs Johanna Ropner,. in front of friends, family, senior military personnel and civic dignitaries
