of professions and social backgrounds who can make a commitment to
help us function effectively in our primary role of augmenting the
Royal Air Force in support of operations.

Position: RAF Regiment Gunner
Description: The RAF Regiment is responsible for the force protection of RAF air assets; this means the planes, the personnel and the air base itself.
Personnel serving on Royal Auxiliary Air Force Regiment squadrons are known as Gunners like their counterparts serving on RAF Regiment squadrons.
